Planning a banquet? If so, we aim to please with all the services you need for a successful event.

We can provide full catering services, as well as catering for luncheons, teas, showers, funerals etc. We have plenty of daytime space open for classes, programs, seminars and meetings.

NON-CATERED HALL RENTAL RATES:
  • $110 Hall Rental Fee (limit of 4 hours)
  • $40 for hall supervisor (or $10per hour)
  • This includes coffee and tea
  • Additional fees apply for dishes and dishwasher (contact us for details)

FUNERALS: $2.50-3.00 per person including sandwiches and desserts, coffee and tea.

SOCIALS RENTAL RATES:
  • $350 Hall Rental Fee (FULL DAY)
  • $300 Damage Deposit
  • $75.00 for a bartender (NOTE: For over 100 people 3 bartenders are required)
  • Corkage $1.35 per person (orange, clamato juice. pop, glasses (not shooting glasses)
  • GST IS CHARGED ON EVERYTHING
  • $350 and bartenders must be paid 1 week prior to the event
  • Bartenders do not handle cash. Tickets for drinks must be purchased at the door.
  • No raffling of alcohol. No trays of shooters on the floor (they must be picked up at the bar)
  • We strongly recommend that you set up courtesy rides for your guests.

FULLY CATERED EVENTS RENTAL RATES:
  • There is NO rental fee if the number of guests is over 100.
  • If there is less than 100 people then the hall rental is $110.00.
  • $100 Bartender fee. For over 100 guests then 2 are required.
  • Corkage of $1.35 per person that attends the event.
  • 50% of the banquet fee must be paid 2 weeks prior to the event date.
  • $300 Damage Deposit (if there is no damage then this amount goes toward your catering costs)

BANQUET CATERING POLICY
Effective May 1, 2001

DEPOSIT

A $300.00 damage deposit is required within 7 days pf booking your event. Deposits may be refunded with 6 months notice. Cancellations with less notice will result in forfeiture of deposit.

MENU

14 Days Prior To Your Event: Arrange menu with Office Staff.
7 Days Prior To Your Event: A final count on the number of plates needed is required. 75% of the catering fee is due at this time. You will be charged for the number of  person booked or the number of people in attendance, whichever is GREATER. We prepare 5% above the final guaranteed number.

14 DAYS FOLLOWING YOUR EVENT:
Payment is due for the final balance of your acount as invoiced. A 2% monthly charge will be appiled to overdue accounts. All prices are subject to Provincial Sales Tax and G.S.T.

You get your own liquor permit, bring in all your own alcohol and all alcohol has to be removed from the hall by 1:30am the evening of your event.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices quoted are guaranteed upon the SIGNING of a Banquet Catering Agreement and payment of the 50% fee.

For wedding liquor related functions over 100 people require two (2) bartenders. Cost is $100 per bartender.
Shags require three (3) bartenders and 1 bar supervisor (someone on the floor at all times). Cost is $75 per bartender. $30 charge for coffee to be on all nite.

Soft drinks are supplied strictly by the Current River Community Centre. A corkage fee of $1.35 per person based on the number of persons listed on the Rental Agreement/Liquor Permit, will be levied.

Tablecloths cost is $1.30 per small table.
Tablecloths cost is $1.75 per large table.

Confetti, magnetic cinfetti, rice and candles are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. (Floating candles are allowed). Failure to adhere to this policy will result in extra charge to cover additional cleaning costs.

Items such as napkins, natches, etc. that you may wish to be placed at individual place settings MUST be delivered to the Community Centre office ONE DAY PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT.

With a dance floor you can sit up to 200 people, without a dance floor you can sit up to 250 people.

You get your own liquor license and bring in your own liquor.

It is the responsibility of the renter to decorate and remove those decorations at the completion of the event. Decorations must be removed at the end of the event before arrival of cleaners. If cleaners must remove decorationsan extra charge will be aplied to cover the additional cost.
