Weddings

We love weddings! Book your pre-wedding day event and your wedding day with Current River Community Centre. Our Community Centre seats up to 200 guests with dance floor.

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE IN CASH,CHEQUE OR E TRANSFER.    THANKS

 Wedding Reception Rates:

  • $200.00 hall rental fee for fewer than 100 guests. For over 100 guests the rental fee is waived
  • $175  fee per bartender. For over 100 guests 2 bartenders are required
  • Corkage of $3.00 per person. Everything it take to pour and mix a drink. One time charge.
  • 100% of all banquet fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to event
  • $300 Damage deposit required – if no damages occurred the deposit will be used towards catering costs
  • You can book the day before wedding for decorating @ a cost of $200.00 from 9 am to 3 pm
  • 10 % gratuity on final invoice.

 

Engagement Parties Rates:

WE DO NOT HOLD SHAGS

  • Hall rental fee  $800.00 – to be paid 1 week prior to event Main hall only (Cedar Star Room)
  • $300.00 Damage deposit
  • $175.00 fee for Bartender. For over 100 people, 3 bartenders are required  - to be paid 1 week prior to event.
  • 10 % gratuity on final invoice. (Food Only)
  • Corkage of $3.00 per person (does not include shooter glasses/cups)
  • Bartenders do not handle cash – Drink tickets must be purchased at the door
  • Absolutely no raffling of alcohol. All shooters must be served at the bar
  • We strongly recommend that you set up courtesy rides for your guests (taxi’s, hagi bus, school bus, etc)
  • Insurance if required by all renters. Insurance can be purchased at any insurance broker or on line that cover event insurance.  COPY MUST BE PRESENTED A WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT TAKES PLACE.

Showers, Banquets & Funerals

We offer 2 rooms for rental for any occasion:

  • Cedar Star Room
  • Meeting Room up to 25 people

We provide full catering services for luncheons, teas, showers, etc. As well as offer daytime and evening space open for classes, programs and meetings.

Non-catered Hall Rental Rates:

  • $200.00 hall rental fee (up to 4 hours)
  •  Hall supervisor ( (17.50 per hour)  Paid from time they arrive to time they are finished
  • HST on everything
  • Additional fees apply for use of the  kitchen. ( $75.00 Kitchen fee) when food is being served.
  • 10 % gratuity on final bill
  • Event Liability  insurance  must be purchased for all rentals! USE ONLINE DUUO OR PAL INSURANCE!!

Fully Catered Events Rental Rates:

  • Rental fee of the hall is waived for over 100 guests
  • $200.00 rental fee for the hall for less than 100 guest
  • $175 fee per bartender. For over 100 guests 2 bartenders are required
  • Corkage of $3.00 per person. One time charge.  Everything it takes to mix and pour a drink.
  • 100% of all banquet fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to event
  • $300 Damage deposit required – if no damages occurred the deposit will be used towards catering costs.
  • 10 % gratuity on final invoice
  • Liabity Insurance must be purchased for all rentals.  Can be purchased at your own insurance company OR ON LINE FORM DUUO OR PAL INSURANCE . COPY OF THE INSURANCE POLICY MUST BE PRESENTED A WEEK IN ADVANCE OF EVENT OR EVENT DOESNT HAPPEN. Any one decorating in the hall must provide liabity insurance as well.

Funerals Celebration of Life:

  • $15.00 per person includes sandwiches, desserts,Relish Tray,  coffee and tea service
  • Hall Rental $200.00
  • Tableclothes $3.00 each all white
  • 10 % Gratuity on final bill
  • Event insurance must be purchased by renter Can use Duuo or Pal insurance online

Policy

 

Any events the renter must purchase additional insurance for that event and have copy for centre. Event Insurance can be purchased at your insurance company orDuuo or Pal insurance  online .COPY MUST BE PRESENTED A WEEK IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT. This includes decorators, DJ's,Photo Booth Etc.
